Google Ads audit — we check your account, your campaigns and whether your data tells the truth
Most Google Ads audits judge campaigns using data nobody has verified. If conversions are counted twice, part of your traffic is lost to blockers and Consent Mode cuts half of your measurement, every recommendation built on those numbers is guesswork. That is why our audit starts with the measurement layer and only then moves into campaign structure, bidding and creative.
The audit is free and commits you to nothing. You get a prioritised report, a one-hour call and a 90-day plan — regardless of who ends up implementing it.

When an audit makes sense — and when it wastes money
- the account has been spending for months but results are not scaling with it
- you are planning to increase budget — auditing before scaling costs less than scaling a mistake
- you are taking over an account from another agency or an in-house specialist
- your Google Ads ROAS does not match what your sales data shows
- Performance Max absorbs most of the budget and you cannot tell what is actually working inside it
- you are just starting and have no historical data — you need setup, not an audit
- the account has been running for less than 30 days
- you are looking for confirmation of a decision already made
What we check — four layers
Measurement (we start here, not at the end)
Conversion tag accuracy and deduplication. Consent Mode v2 and how much data you lose after a rejection. Enhanced Conversions. Offline conversions and whether they close the loop to real revenue. Consistency between Google Ads, GA4 and your own systems. Attribution coherence.
Account and campaign structure
Campaign segmentation against business goals, not reporting convenience. Keyword cannibalisation across campaigns. Performance Max scope and what it actually absorbs compared to Search. Exclusions — audiences, locations, partner network, brand terms. Audience signals and product feed quality.
Bidding and budget
Smart bidding strategies matched to conversion volume, or not. Learning thresholds. Budget distribution against profitability rather than click volume. Impression share lost to budget versus lost to rank — two different diagnoses.
Creative and landing pages
Quality Score and its components. Message match from ad to landing page. Extensions. Landing page speed and usability measured by what actually affects conversion.
What you get
- PDF report: findings ranked by priority and estimated impact
- Split into three groups: fix now / schedule / consider
- Specific instructions, not generalities — “move keyword X into campaign Y and here is why”, not “improve account structure”
- A dedicated measurement section: what is broken, how much data you lose, how to fix it
- A one-hour call walking through the report
- A 90-day implementation plan
How the audit works
- 1
Access and context
Read-only access to Google Ads, GA4 and your tag manager. A conversation about business goals and margins.
- 2
Analysis
The four layers above, on at least 90 days of data where available.
- 3
Report and call
Document plus a video consultation.
- 4
Your decision
Implement it yourself, with your team, or with us. An audit does not commit you to working with us.
FAQ
How long does an audit take?+
It depends on account size — number of campaigns, data history and whether the measurement layer needs deeper verification. We give you a timeline after reviewing the account, before any work begins.
What does the audit cost?+
Nothing. The audit is free and commits you to nothing — you get the report, the call and the implementation plan whether or not you decide to work with us.
If it is free, where is the catch?+
There is no catch, there is a calculation. An audit takes us several hours and in some cases leads to a working relationship — that pays off better for us than selling reports. If you decide not to work with us, the report is yours to implement in-house or with another agency. We ask for no exclusivity and no commitment.
Do I have to give full account access?+
No. Read-only access to Google Ads and GA4 is enough. Some measurement checks benefit from tag manager visibility — also read-only.
What if the audit finds nothing significant?+
That is a result too — it means the account is well run and growth has to come from somewhere other than optimisation: budget, offer, or other channels. We will say so directly.
What is the difference between an account audit and a campaign audit?+
A campaign audit looks at individual campaigns and their settings. An account audit covers everything — structure, exclusions, conversions, attribution and the measurement layer. We do the latter, because the former rarely answers the question of why results are not growing.
Do you audit Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads accounts too?+
Yes, but as separate engagements. For multi-channel accounts we usually recommend starting with the measurement layer shared across all channels.
